Third Wave Volunteers is a global disaster relief non-profit set up to mobilize medical, and non-medical first responders, to aid women, children, and refugees in disadvantaged and affected communities with medical, clean water, solar, and disaster training after natural and man-made disasters for the past 24 years. Third Wave was founded on the Sept 11th attacks in NYC by MCI Veteran Dr. Alison Thompson.  Why Donate Imagine a world where everyone does their part that the karma banks are overflowing with blue chip stocks of compassion and we are all billionaires on the inside - Dr. Alison Thompson Third Wave Volunteers have run large field hospitals, refugee camps and resilience hubs after natural/ man-made disasters and pandemics around the world for the past 24 years. Third Wave Volunteers was founded by Dr. Alison Thompson in NYC on Sept 11th 2001 and has grown to over 30,000 volunteer first responders nationwide. Our preparedness work varies from year-long CERT community emergency response training for everyday citizens to helping run the Miami CEOC- Community Emergency Operations Center in Florida which includes over 100 local organizations. Third Wave Volunteers is currently working with the Wayuu tribe in La Guajira in the North Columbian desert where 1000s of babies and children are dying of malnutrition and lack of water. Please join us in our journey to build three water wells in this region.
