From September to November 2025, communities across the Philippines were affected by Typhoon Opong, Tropical Storm Ramil, Typhoon Tino, Super Typhoon Uwan, the 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Northern Cebu, and the 7.4 magnitude earthquake in the Davao Region. Many schools lost classrooms, and several island communities lost the small boats that bring children to school every day. This Giving Tuesday, we are raising support for classroom repairs, starter classrooms, and yellow school boat builds and repairs for storm and quake affected areas. These efforts help schools reopen safely and help students from coastal and island communities return to class without long or dangerous travel.
