Care For Healthy Life Initiative (CAHLIN) is a nonprofit organization that is based in Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria. It was established in 2018 and registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with registration number (CAC/IT/NO 121529), Anambra State Ministry of Social Welfare, Children and Women Affairs and Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML), of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The registration with SCUML, is to show that this organization observes anti-money laundering measures and as such, will not engage in any money laundering activity. CAHLIN is dedicated to promoting healthy lifestyle for the people, with focus on preventing new HIV infections and ending AIDS. We also support people that are affected by poverty, hunger, disability and other health challenges, improving their lives and giving indigent children and adults, access to quality education. We have carried out a lot of sensitization programs on HIV/AIDS in schools, companies, markets, radio stations etc. in Anambra State, counselling and testing people and referring those that test positive to HIV treatment centers for enrollment and starting of antiretroviral therapy. On December 1st 2020, our World AIDS Day celebration in Nnewi-Anambra State, was one of the best, if not the best in the state. We are also supporting other people with various health needs, in order to make sure that everyone is leading a healthy life. Orphans and vulnerable children are not left out in our projects, as we do a lot to support their health, education and feeding. We're in partnership with GlobalGiving Foundation United States and our organization is also live on Benevity, Endaoment and YourCause NPOconnect. We have executed and still executing lots of projects in Nigeria, which includes supporting people's medical treatment, feeding and supporting poor hungry beggars, supporting poor orphans living with HIV, providing free antenatal care for poor pregnant women, caring for the elderly, reducing poverty and helping poor families to survive, providing clean water for rural villages, helping the disabled, promoting learning and helping children orphans and the poor to attend school, supporting rural primary health centers with HIV testing kits, providing food items for poor families, feeding hungry and poor vulnerable children, improving the lives of poor widows etc. Programs: There are many projects that Care For Healthy Life initiative is currently engaged in, all of which needs funding in order to become a reality.

In many parts of Africa, the path to education is not just a journey of learning, it is a journey filled with hardship, danger, and health risks. Every day, thousands of children walk long distances barefoot on rough, often hazardous terrain just to attend school. Their determination is unmatched, but their vulnerability is alarming. At Shoe That Speak Africa Initiative, our mission is to empower underprivileged young minds by providing them with the basic tools they need to succeed, starting with protective footwear and educational materials. Our Milestones We have: Distributed over 400 pairs of shoes to children across underserved communities in Nigeria. Provided more than 5,000 educational materials, from notebooks and pens to learning kits and textbooks. These numbers reflect more than statistics; they represent lives touched, dreams protected, and futures rewritten. Why Shoes Matter: A Hidden Crisis Trekking barefoot exposes children to: Cuts and open wounds prone to infection.Parasitic diseases like hookworm and jiggers.Long-term foot damage from walking on sharp stones, hot surfaces, and polluted paths.Tetanus, which remains a deadly risk in environments where basic medical care is inaccessible. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), tetanus and neglected foot injuries continue to claim lives among children in impoverished regions, where minor wounds can quickly become fatal without timely treatment. Our simple solution, providing quality footwear, has proven life saving. The Ripple Effect By empowering one child, we impact an entire family. Educated children grow up to break cycles of poverty, lift up their communities, and inspire future generations. How We Work We collaborate with local grassroots NGOs who are already embedded within rural and underserved communities. These organizations help us: Identify the most vulnerable children.Organize safe, efficient distribution events.Follow up with families and schools to assess long-term impact. This community led model ensures that support goes where it is needed most, and that no child is left behind. Why Your Support Matters There are still millions of children in Africa walking barefoot to school every day, exposed to health dangers that no child should face. Your donation can help us scale our efforts. $10 can provide a child with a new pair of durable shoes.$15 can supply a child with shoes and basic school materials.$50 can sponsor multiple children in a household or classroom. When you give to Shoes That Speak Africa Initiative, you are not just making a donation, you are changing a life, preventing illness, and empowering the next generation of African leaders. Join the Movement Whether you’re an individual donor, corporate sponsor, or fellow nonprofit organization, you can be part of this journey. Help us give every child the chance to walk safely toward a brighter future. Together, we can turn steps into stories of hope, education, and transformation.
