Fields of Hope is a non-government organization that began its activities in Rwanda in 2019. It was established under the law No. 4/2012 dated 17th February 2012 which governs non-profit organizations in Rwanda. In January 2020, it was legally registered with Rwanda Governance Board (RGB). Our Vision The vision of Fields of Hope is to promote the better future of children, teen mothers and adults with disabilities. Mission Our mission is to combat disability rights violence, poverty, malnutrition; and to promote a health literate generation taking children, teen mothers and adults with disabilities from rural underserved and distress communities as the top priority. We implement various programs to achieve our goals. We provide scholastic materials, medical insurance, advocacy and economic empowerment to children, teen mothers and adults with disabilities from rural underserved families. Our programs I. Advocacy & Awareness program Our Advocacy & Awareness program plays a crucial role in creating positive change and making a lasting impact in the lives of children, teen mothers adults with disabilities, their families and communities. The estimated cost of this project is $17,500. II. Education & Child Mentorship Children with disabilities or born from under served parents with disabilities are mentored and provided with scholastic materials that enable them to inclusively attend school. The estimated cost of this project is $26,540. III. Health Support We promote healthcare by paying medical insurance and transport for children, teen mothers, and adults with disabilities to and from the Hospitals. The estimated cost of this project is $31,200. IV. Sanitation & Wash We provide sanitary materials to children, teen mothers and adults with disabilities. We also support families of beneficiaries by easing their access to clean and safe water. The estimated cost of this project is $19,100. V. Poverty Reduction We promote a better future for children, teen mothers, and adults with disabilities by engaging them in small scale enterprises such as crafts and tailoring activities that can generate income for them. The estimated cost of this project is $47,400. VI. Food Security Beneficiaries are provided with supportive access to nutritious food and food secure through sustainable agriculture and nutrition training. They are trained on how to make organic manure, use of modern farming methods and land economization. Through provision of improved fruit tree seedlings and seeds that yield in a short period to them, food security is attained. They are also trained on how to prepare nutritious meals for their families while preserving nutrients in order to combat malnutrition and its complications. The estimated cost of this project is $31,600. What your donation can provide:

  1. A $10 donation can provide medical insurance to one beneficiary.
  2. A $ 25 donation can transport one child/ teen mother/adult with disabilities to and from the hospital.
  3. A $50 donation can provide scholastic materials to one child and enable him/her to exclusively attend school.
  4. A $ 100 donation can sanitary materials to one children/teen mother/adults with disabilities.
  5. A $ 500 donation can help one teen mother/ adult with disabilities to start up a small scale enterprises.
  6. A $1000 donation can provide agriculture training and improved fruit tree seedlings and seeds to 50 beneficiaries.
