Keep 1,100 Rural Girls in SchoolRSKS India will support 1,100 girls from low-income rural families in Rajasthan with school bags, uniforms, books, notebooks, stationery, sweaters and assistance with school fees, according to individual needs. By reducing financial barriers, the project will help girls continue their schooling, participate confidently in learning and pursue opportunities for a brighter future. For rural families living on limited or irregular incomes, educational expenses can be difficult to manage alongside food, healthcare and other necessities. A missing textbook, worn-out uniform or shortage of stationery can affect a girl’s participation in school. When these difficulties persist, girls may lose confidence, fall behind in lessons or experience interruptions in their education. Timely assistance can help prevent financial hardship from becoming a lasting barrier to learning. RSKS India will work with families and schools to identify 1,100 rural girls who need educational assistance, prioritising those facing financial hardship and the risk of interrupted schooling. Each girl will receive support based on her educational requirements. Essential materials and school-fee assistance, where applicable, will ease household expenses and help students arrive at school better prepared. Engagement with parents will encourage regular attendance and continued support for their daughters’ education. Follow-up with families and schools will help assess the usefulness of the assistance and identify emerging needs. The project aims to help 1,100 girls remain engaged in education, strengthen their confidence and progress towards further learning opportunities. Continued schooling can build knowledge, practical skills and the ability to make informed decisions about their futures. For families, reduced educational expenses can make supporting a daughter’s schooling more manageable. Over time, girls’ educational progress can encourage greater recognition of their abilities and aspirations within their communities. Your support can help a girl continue learning today and expand her choices for tomorrow.
