I am competing in my first amateur MMA fight to help raise money for charity, while also transforming my life and proving to myself I can do hard things. All funds raised will be split equally amongst the following incredible nonprofits: St Jude Children's Hospital is an organization whose reputation speaks for itself. They're leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. As a father of two precious children I pray never to experience that kind of pain, but I'm forever grateful that organizations like St. Jude exist to provide support when it's most needed. The First Step Foundation helps people with spinal cord, neurological, and related disorders regain movement and mobility by providing access to the BARWIS Neurological Reengineering elite recovery program via training scholarships. To date, their scholarships have helped over 30 people who have been told they would never walk again and rise back up on their feet. I'm grateful to be advising their board through an ad-hoc committee and training locally for my fight at BARWIS Colorado with professional MMA fighter Collin Anglin. Better Giving is the nonprofit I founded. We provide a free one-stop solution for nonprofits to fundraise, save, and invest. It's been my life's work over the past 4 years, and we've helped hundreds of organizations process over $6 million in donations.
