Rebuilding After the Palisades Fire: Help Ace of Hearts Keep Saving Dogs

In January 2025, the Palisades fire destroyed the Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue office. We lost our records, our equipment, and the supplies our foster homes depend on. Because every Ace dog lives in a foster home, no dog in our care was harmed. But we’ve been rebuilding ever since, while still rescuing dogs from Los Angeles County shelters on the day they’re scheduled to be euthanized. For 25 years, Ace of Hearts has pulled dogs from shelters and placed them in foster homes until they find families. In 2025 we took in 124 dogs, adopted out 112, and euthanized none. We now have 76 foster homes. Your gift helps us finish recovering: Veterinary care for the dogs in our care Crates, beds, food and supplies for foster families The equipment and records that keep our rescue running A monthly gift is the best way to help. It lets us plan, and it means a foster family never has to wait for supplies. Ace of Hearts has saved thousands of dogs from euthanasia over the years. With your help, we can continue to do so, even in the face of devastating loss. Thank you for standing with Ace of Hearts, and with the dogs whose lives depend on it.
